GTC for Sprachcaffe Munich and GTC for the Telc exam

1. this registration is binding for the specified months, weeks or hours.

2. once this period has expired, you do not need to re-register, as renewal is automatic from month to month unless we have received written notice of termination. If you no longer intend to take part in the course after this time, please do not forget to cancel. The notice period is one month. Cancellation is not required for intensive courses or individual lessons. Cancellation fees are as follows

- up to 30 days before the start of the course: 25 %
- up to 15 days before the start of the course: 50 %, thereafter 90 % of the course costs.

3. A month of lessons includes 4 weeks in which the course takes place, one lesson lasts 45 minutes. The course fee is due at the latest at the start of the course. The prices quoted are per person.

4. We endeavor to make up for missed lessons due to public holidays by agreement with course participants and language teachers or to reimburse them internally, which extends the specified period accordingly.

5. There is no compensation for missed lessons! Interruptions due to illness and/or vacation in a continuous course (e.g. evening course) will be compensated if they

a) last longer than 2 weeks and
b) the vacation is communicated 2 weeks in advance,

credited as follows:

for 3 absences: 1 double lesson; for 4 absences: 2 double lessons; for 5 absences: 3 double lessons, etc.

Unfortunately, vacations or absences due to illness cannot be offset against the notice period and can only be taken into account a maximum of 2 times per calendar year.

6The group course booked at the time of registration can only take place or be continued if there are sufficient participants (i.e. 2 people in groups of 3 participants, 3 people in groups of 6, 4 people in groups of 8, etc.).

7. Agreed dates for individual lessons must be canceled 48 hours in advance!

8. Educational leave: When applying for and taking educational leave, participation in language lessons is mandatory. The school management and the employer must be informed immediately of any absences. Rebookings (date, course, language) and/or cancellations must be made immediately and in writing. This applies in particular if the employer does not accept the desired educational leave date. In this case, we ask you to provide us with the relevant notification from the employer. Up to 2 rebookings will be made free of charge, for each further change we will unfortunately have to charge 30,- EUR!

9 The parties agree not to poach or employ each other's permanent or freelance staff, either directly or indirectly. In the event of a breach of the non-solicitation clause, the party acting in breach of contract shall be obliged to pay a contractual penalty of up to EUR 10,000.

10. note in connection with the Corona pandemic: Sprachcaffe reserves the right to organize language courses booked as face-to-face courses as online courses if the Corona situation deteriorates. For this reason, no claims for repayment of the course price by participants will be accepted.

General Terms and Conditions for Telc examinations at Sprachcaffe Munich

1. information on registration

After registration, the examination fee must be transferred to the Sprachcaffe Munich account within 7 days. Only then is the registration binding. Registration must be made at least 14 days before the exam. Withdrawal from the exam is only possible if a substitute participant can be found who can take the exam instead. A fee of € 60.00 will be charged for re-registration. Refunds are not possible for non-attendance at the examination. If the examination cannot be taken due to illness, a refund can only be made if a medical certificate is presented on the day of the examination at the latest. A cancellation fee of €90.00 will be charged. The remaining amount will either be refunded to the account or can be offset against the next exam registration.

2. examination fee

The examination fee must be received in full in the account of Sprachcaffe Munich within 7 days of registration.

3. invitation to the exam

Approximately 7 days before the exam date, you will receive an invitation to the exam by e-mail, stating the location and start date of the exam. If you do not receive this, please contact us immediately.

4 Conditions of participation, place of jurisdiction

By registering for the exam, the participant accepts the General Terms and Conditions of Particip ation and the Privacy Policy. The contract is subject to German law. The place of jurisdiction is Munich.
